Our client located at Victoria Island is seeking a reliable and experienced Dispatch Rider to deliver packages, documents, and other items to clients promptly and safely. The ideal candidate should be familiar with routes, traffic laws, and basic vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver items to clients as assigned.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of items.
- Plan routes and follow the most efficient path.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and receipts.
- Communicate with clients and office regarding delivery updates.
- Ensure proper handling and care of packages during transit.
- Carry out basic maintenance checks on the motorcycle.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a dispatch rider or similar role.
- Valid rider’s permit and driver’s license.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and honest.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC.
- Familiarity with GPS devices or mobile map applications.
- Basic record-keeping skills.
