Our clients located in Abeokuta, Ilorin and Lokoja seeks the contract services of a laundry ironer. The laundry ironer is responsible for pressing and finishing garments, linens, and other fabrics using industrial irons and steam equipment. This role ensures all items are neatly ironed, wrinkle-free, and meet cleanliness and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ironing and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect laundered items for stains, damage, or wrinkles before ironing.
- Sort, fold, and prepare finished items for delivery or storage.
- Maintain cleanliness of ironing area and equipment.
- Follow garment care labels and customer instructions.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in laundry or garment care preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle various fabric types.
- Physical stamina for standing and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
